Summerbird's first BJD 'Viola' will be available for preorder starting July 17th, 2017 at 8:00PM EDT!
The preorder period will be from July 17th to August 11th, but it may be closed early if the order reaches 30 dolls. So it is both time and quantity limited, whichever is reached first.
I decided to put a quantity limit on this preorder, since it's my first one and I want to get things right before accepting a lot of orders. I want everyone to have a good experience!
PLEASE NOTE: This is a pre-order doll, which means it needs time to be made after your order. Production and assembly is estimated to take about 3 months after the preorder is closed, but it could be more or less time depending on various factors.
Casting Details
Viola will be cast in resin by Haru Casting, a small family-run company in South Korea that specializes in BJD casting. They provide pictures with updates in the casting process that I will of course share with you. You can also follow them directly on their Tumblr, Flickr, or Instagram for lots of cool process photos, and delightful pictures of their own dolls. They are wonderful people and I'm so excited to be working with them!
You can choose from 5 resin color options for the first preorder: Cream White, Pale Violet, Pale Peach, Café au Lait, and Milk Chocolate. These correspond to the Haru Casting color names: Cream White, Pastel Violet, Nanni Normal, Light Tan, and Cacao Tan (respectively). Available Options
Viola will be available to preorder as a Full Doll, Body Only, or Head Only.
For full dolls and bodies, I made the bust pieces and heel feet option parts. You can order either single bust piece, or get both for an extra charge. A penis part, attachable with eye putty or glue, comes with the order of any Pixie (small) bust part. If you'd like a penis part with an order of only the Vixen (large) bust, please let me know in the order comments. Heel feet can be ordered in addition to flat feet, but not by themselves at this time.
Body blushing/manicure options are available as well. Just choose your desired options and add the "Blushing for Viola Preorder" item to your cart with your Viola order.
I am also offering 10 custom faceup slots for the Viola preorder. Again, you can fill out the form and add the "Custom Faceup for Viola Preorder" item to your cart with the Viola order. I decided to only have custom faceups available for this first Viola preorder, but in the future I might have a default makeup option for her.
Payment Options
The webshop is powered by Shopify, which accepts both PayPal and credit card payments through its secure, Level-1 PCI compliant gateway. If you're on a supported Apple device, you can also use Apple Pay.
